MASTER TRENT ZAPPEN
Chief Instructor
Sensei Trent has over 30 years of martial arts experience and received his 4th Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo at the Shaolin Temple in China and currently holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt. He is the North American Ambassador for the Shaolin Federation. He has additional training in Wushu, Jiu Jitsu, and also specializes in Women's Self Defense. Master Zappen was honored to receive USSD Instructor Of The Year in 2013 as well as receive the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame School of the Year Award in 2015. When not at the dojo he enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, and cooking.
SENSEI TANNER DIAZ
Senior Instructor
Sensei Tanner has over 10 years of martial arts experience and is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo. He is a much beloved Instructor in the dojo and is a role model for all of his students. When Sensei Tanner isn't in the dojo he enjoys spending time with his family and going to Disneyland with his wife.
SENSEI EVAN
Instructor
Sensei Evan has been training in the martial arts since the age of 7 and holds the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt. Sensei Evan is admired by students and parents alike for his work ethic and abilities. When Sensei Evan is not at the dojo he enjoys hanging out with family and friends.
